TheWorkbench

A working surface, not a display. Pieces, photographs and notes are set down, moved, considered again. A quiet topography of making.

II — One Eye · Two Vocations

One eyeTwo vocations

Jeweler and collector: two vocations, a single eye. For Yossi Harari, these were never separate lives. The same eye chose a stone, a vessel, a room and the space between them.

His work moves through material, place and memory. What he made and what he kept belong to one evolving visual language.

01 / Maker

The maker

Ancient techniques. Sensual weight. An insistence that jewelry carries the presence of the hand.

02 / Collector

The collector

Art and objects gathered across decades. Not décor, but companions in an ongoing conversation.

A life in jewelry

At eight, Yossi told his family that one day he would become a jewelry designer.

More than three decades later, that childhood certainty became a body of work spanning Istanbul, Israel and New York.

His jewelry has been carried by Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Stanley Korshak, and recognized at the COUTURE Design Awards in Las Vegas.

Beyond the work

The curiosity that drew Yossi to gold also drew him to art, ancient objects, architecture and the stories objects carry.

“The piece is complete only when material, memory and the body become inseparable.”

Made by hand in 24-karat gold, each work carries variation as evidence — an artwork before it becomes an accessory.
